I just went ahead and died again, didn't I. I... really don't think I'll ever be fully active here again - not to be dramatic or anything, it's just that commenting has become more like a chore than something I do for fun, and I never have anything constructive to say - I feel like a broken record for every comment I make. That said, I'll try my best to keep up with journals, and I'm probably going to keep uploading generic fanart if I finish more of it (I'm especially itching to draw Oofuri stuff but I can't get any of the characters right! OH ANGST).

ANYWAY, I basically spent my entire summer being a wannabe Lepidopterist. While I do love butterflies, moths are my favorites. Why? 'Cause they're CUTE, OF COURSE. What we have here is what I believe to be an Oak Eggar from the family Lasiocampidae. I'm sure she's not all that fascinating for you people in more exotic countries, but her size sure made MY jaw drop! She buzzed around in my room like a tiny furry helicopter, and the only place she wanted to sit still was on the net.
