For those who have many watchers, and for those who don’t have many, it is hard to know how one retains that interest as well as receive more. This article explores the basics of watchers and how we react to certain situations. Although it does not affect some deviants, and the tips are generally related to common sense, we hope the article is a worthwhile read and that the majority learn something from reading this.

THAT'S RIGHT, KIDS! CRITS MAKE YOU COOL!!!
Despite the retardedness of this comic, I'm very serious. If criticism makes you feel icky, you really need to grow a spine. I'm not saying this to be mean (after all, I'm INGRID and I live for being nice), but to HELP!! Because if you can't handle people's honest opinions, well... YOU ARE SCREWED. By the way, the Critisaurus TOTALLY got his own account so that artists can go ask him to rip their art to shreds, but then I remembered that since he's MY puppet account, I'M actually the one having to give out the pointers, and well... despite the fact that I'm OBSESSED with crits, I really suck at giving them and I don't really know as much about art as I SHOULD. OH THE CRUEL IRONY OF IT ALL!!!!! I need crits on giving crits.  Pointless edit, March 2009: GOOD GAWRSH I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S BEEN LIKE TWO YEARS AND NO ONE HAS SAID A SINGLE THING ABOUT TIMMY'S HORRIBLE CHICKEN CLAW HANDS IN THE SECOND FRAME. That is all. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. Our objective is to recognise deviants who deserve more recognition and to feature deviations with less than 10 original comments.
